tight security or insecurity?

hello all,

I was in Mumbai during the holidays.

While in Mumbai I visited the museum there and all the terror struck places in Mumbai.

I salute the people of mumbai... I understood what they say when they talk about the Mumbai spirit.. The place was the same but only now there are dozens of police officers there and a lot of police dogs... All restaurants and hotels had tight security...

it was heart breaking to see the Taj hotel.. I was reminded of the horrifying pictures i saw in the newspapers and tv... The CST station also looked horrifying as i was pretty sure that whoever was in there might be feeling a little frightened of the place..

We talk of having lot of security now but what about the insecurity that these attacks have instilled in us?

Every Indian now wakes up with a feeling that anything can happen anytime..

While in the museum what struck me was - there was a full room filled with war weapons.. knives n swords of all sizes... shields and suits to protect the kings and warriors.. old guns for shooting or huntin etc... and i felt that this insecurity is not something that is new...the people of the olden days also had such problems only now with such advanced technology, the murderers can operate their weapons sitting at a different place with their remote controls...

A king fought with another king for their kingdom...but atleast there were some rules and they abided the rules, like once the king is killed..the war ends ...

The same way terrorism is the king now and if we dont kill it ,it will captivate our whole kingdom, country and the whole world..

the weapon which all us Indians should possess is "unity"... with it we can kill

all the insecurity, we can kill the fear and we can kill the grief ..
the sun will rise..Butterflies will fly yet again, children will smile again and the world will be a beautiful place..
Aavjo,

Ashwini
